I slept last night with fear in the morning my house will be with other people. Slept with tears falling out of my eyes because we will lose our house. We will lose our identity and will lose our memories.” These words were from Muna Al-kurd about Israel’s forced expulsions In Al-Shak Jarrah.

In eastern Jerusalem, 2 km (1.2 mi) north of the Old Town, Sheikh Jarrah
is located with 500 families live there. In 2008, the Israeli government announced the displacement of three families from their homes.
Three homes with full displacement and half of the Al-Kurd home.

Maryam Al Ghawi the house owner for one of those homes, who Isreal announced to displacement it. She said with her interview with FOA,
“they did not throw only our belongings out of the window. However, when we were outside the home, they just cruelly threw him at us from the second floor window.”

A scene like this, you could not imagine it. When someone shares your home or takes it from you. This something you will never accept.

Why Israel doing that, and which the claims and the documents they have to let these people outside their homes and force over 28 families to displacement.

In 1956, Palestinian moved to sheikh Jarrah from their land. That was after the war occurs in 1948. Sheikh Jarrah’s neighborhood was under UN and the Jordanian government control.
In 1967, the Six-Day War ended with the occupation of Jerusalem with neighborhoods surrounding it.

In 1972, Jewish settlers started launching legal challenges to the Palestinian claims to the land. This legal battle continues today.

This Group of Settlers funded by donors from the United States.
These donors let them start a battle that resulted in the displacement of
over 43 Palestinians in 2002. As well as the Hanoun and Ghawi families in 2008 and the Shamasneh family in 2017.

The settlers said they have rights in these houses and land based on Israeli law. That permits Jews to recover property abandoned during the war in 1948.

On the other side. The families of Al-Sheikh Jarrah have asked the United Nations and the Government of Jordan to send a document showing their ownership and right to land.
The documents confirm the legal rights of Sheikh Jarrah’s families in 1956.

The Israeli government’s situation was to support the rights of the settlers in the land. This what announced it clearly after When Human Rights has called the forced removal of Palestinian families a potential war crime. Israeli that reply about these claims with what they called a “real-estate dispute between private parties.”

The Court And The Right To Palestinians Property.

Last May, the courts announced the delay of this decision for displacement
of Sheikh Jarrah’s families.
The Palestinians don’t trust Israeli courts. In her interview with Vice,
Muna Al-Kurd said “ We are not dealing with a justice state. This is an occupation, ,” she continued “ What happening is a violation of
international law. This is a war crime, forced eviction is a war crime.”

The Settler sure by the courts will stand with them by giving their rights in land. They said, God gave Palestine land to Jews and there is no place for Arabs on this land.

Deputy Mayor Arieh King (Jerusalem) said in his interview “ I want to see the place full of Jewish without Arab.”

Also, Jerusalem in the eyes of any Israeli citizens whatever this person was religious or not. They considered Jerusalem a symbol of Israel. They want this city to make a Jew city with no Arab.

The Israeli American settler Jacob who lives in the half of Al-Kurd home has
a discussion with Muna Al-Kurd. This conversation filmed and was as following:

- Muna: “Jacob, you know that this is not your home.”

-The settler (Jacob): “Yes, but if I go, you don’t go back, so what’s the problem? Why are you yelling at me?”

With his an interview with Vice Settler Jacob said “ The right to live here is the owner for the house (Settler) want to let Jews live in this house” he continued “ I am here to make the neighborhood strength and make sure this neighborhood not lost any future steal”

The Fears From Another Catastrophe.

“500 Families threatened with displacement from the Sheikh Jarrah,” Muna said, This will guide the Palestinians towards displacement to
an unknown destination. Not to mention, the first displacement for
these families was in 1948.

With his interview with Al Jazeera the 71-year-old Abdel Fattah Iskafi
said “This is going to be a new Nakba [catastrophe] if they expel us,” referring to the day in 1948 when the state of Israel declared.

Between 750,000 and one million: The number of Palestinians expelled, and made refugees by Zionist paramilitaries, and subsequently Israeli forces, during Israel’s creation in 1947–49.

The End Of This Conflict

No signs tell us when this conflict will end; the settlers’ numbers increase and the forced expulsions increase, which leads to a continuous battle between the two sides.
The Israeli government is moving toward the Judaization of Jerusalem.
Which let the Neighborhood families and Palestinian not trust this government or court.

Nobody wants Arabs and Palestinians in Palestine. The settlers Confirm
about them right on the land even if this coming from occupation.
Jewish Settlers said, “Every state, every nation in history, conquered. So we conquered the territory of the Arabs, so now it's ours.”

The Palestinians prove, by documents and their history, the right to live in Palestine.
The most important thing for Palestinians is their union against the occupation. They know this is the only way to tell the world their rights and their stories.

“I believe in popular resistance,” this what Muna said.
Here she notes the new resistance (The social Media) besides the resistance that happens on the streets.
This resistance let the story of what happened in Jerusalem and Palestine reach the world.
She said this new type of resistance with her interview in Al-Jazeera,
“The size of the global solidarity has angered the [Israeli] government of the occupation and the crackdown has increased,” said Muna, denouncing “the occupation’s justice system” for failing Palestinians.”

The immigration nightmare for the Palestinians who live in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and panic over an unknown future that follows.
With weird silence for the World nation. Israel flouts any rights for the Palestinians in this land.
With tremendous support for settlers and the settlement.

As Muna said, “forced eviction is a war crime” that, if it happens, will cause further trauma and catastrophe for over 500 families in Sheikh Jarrah.

The Judaization of Jerusalem that the Israeli government created, targeted to cleanse Jerusalem from the Arabs and Palestinians, is an act of genocide.
The Ethnic cleansing and the apartheid system Isreal take against Palestinian will make devastating result. The Jew wants the land for a group of people, not for anyone else.
The Palestinians hold their land. They won’t let anyone steal this land from their hands.
Palestinians slogan is, “We will not leave,” this an obvious message that no one can take their land and displacing them.
